bulletActivity from LOVE YOUR BODY: Change the Way You Feel About the Body You Have

The "Tool Box" is designed to provide you with the resources you will need to combat your negative thoughts and destructive behaviors

Tool Box Project

1.    Obtain a box of some sort and take your time decorating it to make it  special. Have some fun with it - you may want to cut out pictures of your favorite places or use positive words or phrases from magazines  & paste them on your box.

2.    Cut small rectangular slot in top.

3.    Fill with positive thought and nurturing things to do.

For example, on separate sheets of paper write:

  1. Journal for 20 minutes
  2. 5 positive affirmations on separate sheets
  3. Bubble bath with candles & music
  4. Go for a walk
  5. Play with pet

Try to get 10 ideas to put into your 'Tool Box'. When you are feeling down about yourself or your body, go to your 'Tool Box' and pull out a sheet of paper. Be committed to whatever is on the paper for a minimum of 20-30 minutes. If one activity isn't enough, continue to use your 'Tool Box' as a resource for growth and healing.
